Dinner The Royal Tasting Menu When we saw this menu, it looked so tempting we just had to try it. We didn't know what to expect really from a tasting menu at the incredible value price of 50. Let's just say it exceeded all expectations. Every dish was very well executed. The Jersey Royals with caviar were reminiscent of a certain Michelin star restaurant we have visited. Chicken lollipop with Tikka masala was so tasty we could have eaten a bucket of them. Scallops were cooked to perfection. Now, for the Beef Wellington 'deconstructed' is the word maybe. Which we've never had it served like this before. There are all the elements without all the pastry smothering the best bit, the beef. It was different, and we loved it. Desserts were just as good. Our favourite out of the two would be the apple crumble with Custard. It was so worth the journey, and such a lovely evening. Staff were very attentive, and the service was spot on. It's also a Bring your own, so there's nothing more to pay unless you want a coffee and service, of course.

My partner and I had the Valentine’s Day meal which was a starter of Camembert with baked breads & chutney. A main of a 1.1kg tomahawk steak with dauphinoise potatoes and veg! And chocolate covered strawberry’s and profiteroles for desert. I knew it was doing to be delicious before having it but it was bang on. The quality of the food was amazing, seasoned to perfection. Easily One of the best meals we have had and I 100% recommend to anyone, you won’t be disappointed and thank you so much to JB kitchen for making our valentines meal so special

We visit JB for numerous occasions such as date nights, birthdays etc, and most recently his tasting nights and they also do breakfast. He’s not failed us once! He always goes above and beyond to make it special and his food is exceptional. Always friendly and such a good atmosphere. A go to place to guarantee amazing food .

What a superb experience and a brilliant way to start a birthday weekend. We've been following on social media for some time and finally got the chance to visit. We joined the Thursday evening secret supper and elected the 6 course option - the rest was a surprise and we loved it - every dish was well constructed, tasted excellent and was a decent portion. Honestly you need to try this place - staff were friendly and the wine wasn't too bad; the price was very good considering the quality and variety. I will let the pictures do the rest of the review.

Had an excellent breakfast here one morning so i decided to book a table to try the Italian tasting menu for my wife’s birthday and it was a great experience the food was outstanding with great attention to detail. The waiting staff were very friendly and informative about what we would be eating. Chef Jordan has created something very special in Birstall and I can’t wait to go back again soon

First time dining at JB upstairs at Syston The Pharmacy Arms, I have always been a fan of this little Micro Pub and now with the offering of good food doesn't disappoint! Secret Supper was delicious - Truffle topped hashbrown amuse -goat cheese bonbon with jam- Venison with - Lemon tart with Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet Nice chilled atmosphere, Attentive front of house, Delicious food. Well worth a visit.

Went for breakfast with a party of 9 before heading to the football. Service was first class and the food superb with a wide and varied menu. We had a wide range of dishes and everything was served fresh and hot. I had the Rump steak and Eggs which was perfectly cooked, just pink and oh so tasty. Will certainly be making another trip soon.
